Though we are not certain, we believe that Tortugas is the only island barangay within the entire Bataan Peninsula. As we regularly update our webpage, we will endeavor to verify the barangay island status of Tortugas among others.

  • The Race is On!: Amazing MICE Race Activity 2 was set in Balanga City Bataan, they arrived at 2:00 pm at Joyous Resort and Restaurant where they had their lunch with all of the department heads of city of Balanga headed by Honorable Mayor Joet Garcia, City council of Balanga headed by Vice Mayor Noel Vadecañas, Barangay officials and and all other attached agencies supporting the city.   • Barangay Fiesta 2010 It seemed like a normal day on the outside of Barangay Tortugas, but in Wetland Park area, were the event started was a flurry of activity. There was a buzz in the air, people in identical face expression, and a respectable crowd. Scratch your heads no more! It’s Tortugas barangay Fiesta! held last 16th - 17th day of January, it's a two day celebration and it started with a street dancing competition on the first day and the procession of the feast of Sto.   • 2009 INTERNATIONAL COASTALCLEAN UP The international coastal clean up day was successfully done last September 2009 in Barangay Tortugas, Balanga City, Bataan. With great passion and enthusiasm, more than 600 volunteers from the local residents to city and provincial government employees and department heads and several attached agencies joined efforts in the said drive. Various civic and religious groups likewise showed their support. Members of The United Methodist Church, College students from MAAP and BPSU, the Rotary Club, the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus and the Philippine National Police were also there.   • 5TH PHILIPPINE BIRD FESTIVAL The 5th Philippine Bird Festival, the country’s largest celebration of avifaunal diversity and bird lore awareness, is set to take off on October 9 in Balanga City in Bataan.
