Barangay Accounting Financial Management Systems Seminar

The Bataan Peninsula Association of Local Government Accountants (BPALGA), duly authorized and accredited by COA - GAFMIS as trainers / lecturers on Barangay New Accounting Systems (Barangay NGAS) gave a roll out seminar on Barangay Accounting and Financial Management System for all the Captains, Barangay Treasurers, Kagawad Chairperson on Appropriation and Barangay Book Keepers as prescribed under CoA Accounting Circular No. 2006-002.

This seminar was held at Subic International Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone on the 5th and 6th May 2011. The program started with an opening prayer via video followed by the singing of our National Anthem. Mr. Sevilla, the President of BPALGA, gave opening remarks. He gave an inspirational talk to the delegates. The seminar continued, led by a great speakers and members of BPALGA, Mrs. Myrna B. Roman, Mr. Pepito B. Santos, Mrs. Alice O. Ladringan and Mrs. Milagros D. Villa Viray, who are all certified accountants.

Overall, the seminar was a great success. Everyone was provided with useful information that is sure to assist in the preparation of Financial, Stats of Appropriation, Commitments and Balances, Registry of Appropriations and Commitments and Accountability for Accountable Forms reports.
