Training Needs Analysis Forum

posted May 19, 2015, 2:50 AM by Barangay Tortugas
The Barangay Council of Tortugas had its initial meeting in tapping a number of our residents who we could ask to assist us in the program of the community. We had identified several senior members and retired professionals as part of this new program admonished by our City Mayor Joet Garcia called Barangay Mentors Society (BMS).

The Barangay Officials appreciated the positive response of the newly listed members of the BMS. It only showed that this respected group is able and ready to give back something to the community, which they love. On February 4, 2015, they were recognized during the celebration of the Barangay Week in the presence of our good Mayor Joet Garcia and other City Government of Balanga Officials.

This was followed by another BMS meeting with the Barangay Officials, which was facilitated by Engineer John Ryan Dizon (PhD) and his wife Mrs. Ria Dizon (PhD). A Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT) analysis was done to have achievable data in developing programs needed by our barangay. There will be a follow up meeting soon to finalize which programs / projects will be prioritized.

We thank the members of the BMS who make themselves available to help and be on the lead role in support of all worthwhile barangay programs.

Mabuhay po kayo!
